How can we create the life of our dreams?

That is the question we will explore here at AdvancingMan.com.  My name is Tola Seng.  I created this blog to help people live the life they have only envisioned in their dreams.   

My story

I am a self-professed renaissance soul.  I have always had a wide variety of interests.  In high school I was voted most talented in my class.  I excelled in sports and academics.  As a freshman in college, I held three different jobs, partly for the money but mainly because I was bored.  I graduated from pharmacy school the youngest in my class at the ripe old age of twenty two. 

After graduation I joined the workforce and was making $100,000 a year as a pharmacist.  I bought a brand new Infiniti.  I bought a half-million dollar house.  I opened my own business at twenty seven.  I was living the American Dream.  But something was missing - I wasn't happy.

Imagine, for a second;  I had everything a person could wish for.  A new car.  A big house.  A high-paying job.  My own business.  A wonderful girlfriend.  I even had a dog.  Yet despite all of this, I felt incomplete.  There was an emptiness inside of me that, no matter how much I tried to fill with the "trappings" of success, would just get bigger. 

Then it all came crashing down.  I lost $70,000 in bad investments.  My girlfriend left me.  I quit my job.  I sold my house.  I lost my business.  And the worst, my dog got hit by a car and passed away.  I was a broken man.  I had nothing.

With nowhere else to go,  I turned inward and began to ask myself questions that I never considered previously.  Who Am I?  What is the purpose of life?  What is success?  How can I life a fulfilling life?  What do I really want?  What does it mean to be a man in today's society?

So here I am now.  I want to share with you what I have learned.  My goal is to help you learn how to create the life of your dreams - a life that you will enjoy:
